[Czech Republic] Salary increase for EU Blue Card holders


The Blue Card entitles third-country nationals to stay and work in the Czech Republic. These are highly qualified employees, thus those employees who have successfully completed university or college, if their studies lasted at least 3 years.

As of May 1st, 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs published an increase in the average salary in the Czech Republic for the purposes of setting the minimum wage for EU Blue Card holders. The wage of these employees must be at least 1,5 times the average gross salary in the Czech Republic, so as of May 1st the minimum wage increased to CZK 62,012, which is an increase of CZK 4,482.
