[Czech Republic] Extension of program Antivirus A and B

On Monday, August 24th, 2020, the government decided to extend the Antivirus A and B programs until the end of October. Antivirus C will not be extended, as such extension would require a change of legislation.

In the future (approximately November 2020) the entire Antivirus program should be replaced by a general “kurzarbeit” program. The new law would allow the government to respond to a partial unemployment in case of an emergency. If the company got into trouble and had to reduce the working hours of the employees, the loss of employees’ incomes would be compensated by the government.
